The science supporting exercise as one of the best things we can do for our health is overwhelming. Despite all of this evidence, only 15 to 20% of americans get the recommended amount of exercise. We can come up with many reasons why we cannot exercise, but I want to help you find a reason TO exercise. My job as a trainer is to educate as well as provide safe and effective workouts. The more that you understand why you are doing a certain exercise, the more likely you are to stick with it. After reviewing your past experiences (health history, prior injuries, previous activity/sports etc.), I will assess your present fitness level. Based on all of this information (and your goals) an appropriate fitness program will be drawn up.

The benefits of exercise go far beyond weight loss, but as a society we tend to focus on exercise only as a means to lose weight. By individualizing your workouts, my aim is to help you achieve not only your weight loss goals, but also open your eyes to the many additional benefits of leading an active lifestyle.
